What you will be doing

As a Marketing and Communication Specialist, you will be assisting with the refinement of our current Account Based Marketing (ABM) processes and executing the marketing strategy.  The objective is to increase awareness and drive engagement with prospective clients and our referral network.  The activities will include: 

  • Assist with the Account Based Marketing Strategy and adjust processes as required to achieve greater awareness and engagement of Awecomm’s brand and unique service model
  • Create written content and video content (with support and assistance from external resources)
  • Assist others in the development of content (outlines, editing, idea generation, etc.)
  • Management of the target prospect list and assist with research and data collection on prospects
  • Manage Awecomm Social Media accounts to increase awareness, reinforce messaging, and drive engagement
  • Distribution of creative content – pictures, videos, written blog through social media, website, press releases, sponsored events, advertising, etc.
  • Organize and maintain marketing material and sales collateral that helps ensure consistent messaging and supports sales results throughout the process
  • Event coordination and management – plan, organize, and execute on events in Southeast Michigan that provide business value to our prospective clients and further create engagement and awareness of Awecomm

Experience & skills that will enable your success

  • 2+ Years experience in Marketing
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal through various communication channels
  • Passion and capability to create new marketing content – written blogs, video content, event presentations
  • Strong organizational skills to plan content creation and distribution schedules, as well as to plan and coordinate events
  • Proven ability to initiate and drive new processes, adapt, learn, and apply knowledge toward continuous improvement
  • Strong focus on team success
  • Ability and passion to continuously learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant business field
