1. Who We Are

Awecomm is a managed IT services and technology strategy partner focused on helping organizations leverage technology to build healthier, more profitable businesses. We provide business-first IT services, cybersecurity guidance, and AI-powered solutions through separate service agreements with our clients. These Terms apply only to your use of Awecomm.com and related public-facing web properties—not to any separate service agreement you may have with us.

2. Eligibility & Acceptance

  • You are at least 18 years old; and
  • You have the authority to bind yourself or the organization on whose behalf you are using the Site.
If you are accessing the Site on behalf of a company or other legal entity, “you” and “your” refer to that entity. Your access to and use of the Site is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Site.

3. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Changes become effective when posted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice (for example, by a notice on the Site).

  • Videos, webinars, and audio recordings
  • Layouts, interfaces, and look and feel

  • Learning about Awecomm and our services
  • Evaluating whether to engage with us
  • Using resources we intentionally make available for download or sharing (e.g., guides, checklists) in accordance with any accompanying terms
You may not, without our prior written permission:

  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Awecomm and its licensors.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site:
  • In any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the Site

  • To probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or any related system without our express written consent
  • To submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through contact forms or other interactions
You also agree not to:

  • Circumvent or bypass any measures we use to restrict access or protect the Site

6. Automated Access, AI Systems & Crawling

We recognize that search engines and AI systems help people discover and understand content. At the same time, our content is a critical part of our business and intellectual property. This section explains what is and is not allowed for automated tools.

6.1 Standard Search Engine Crawling

We permit automated access by reputable search engine crawlers (e.g., those operated by major search providers) for the limited purpose of:
  • Indexing our pages
  • Displaying links, snippets, and previews in search results
These crawlers must comply with:
  • Our robots.txt file
  • Any other machine-readable instructions we publish
We may update or revoke this permission at any time.

6.2 AI Systems & Other Automated Tools

Subject to strict compliance with these Terms and our machine-readable instructions (including robots.txt, ai.txt, and any structured data or meta tags we publish), we conditionally permit automated tools operated by reputable AI and search providers to:
  • Access and cache Site Content for the purpose of generating:
    • Search previews, summaries, and overviews about Awecomm;
    • Answers to end-user questions about Awecomm, managed IT services, cybersecurity, AI in business, and related topics, where our content is reasonably relevant.
Except as expressly allowed above, you may not use any automated system, including AI agents, bots, scrapers, or crawlers, to:
  • Train, fine-tune, or improve any general-purpose AI or machine-learning models using Site Content, or
  • Create or improve products or services that compete with Awecomm using Site Content, or
  • Systematically copy, archive, or mirror substantial portions of the Site.
Any automated access must:
  • Respect rate limits and not degrade performance for human users
  • Respect any “noindex,” “nocache,” “noai,” or similar directives we publish
  • Cease upon our request
If you are unsure whether your use complies with this section, you must obtain our written permission before proceeding: hello@awecomm.com.

7. User Content & Submissions

The Site may allow you to submit information, such as:
  • Contact form inquiries
  • Event registrations
  • Download requests
  • Comments or feedback
Collectively, this is “User Content.” By submitting User Content, you:
  • Represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it
  • Agree not to submit confidential, sensitive, or third-party-proprietary information unless you have full rights to do so
  • Grant Awecomm a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, and reproduce the User Content as reasonably necessary to:
    • Respond to your inquiries
    • Provide requested information or services
    • Operate, maintain, and improve our business and the Site
We may, but are not obligated to, remove or refuse to accept any User Content at our discretion. For how we handle personal data included in User Content, please see our Privacy Policy

8. Third-Party Links, Tools & Services

The Site may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, tools, or services (collectively, “Third-Party Services”), including but not limited to:
  • Social media platforms
  • Event platforms or registration tools
  • Learning or content platforms
  • Partner or vendor websites
These Third-Party Services are not controlled by Awecomm, and we are not responsible for:
  • Their content, availability, or accuracy
  • Their security or privacy practices
  • Any loss or damage you may incur through your use of them
Your use of Third-Party Services is subject to their own terms and policies. We encourage you to review those terms and privacy policies before engaging with any Third-Party Services.

9. No Professional Advice

The Site Content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site is intended to:
  • Provide legal, regulatory, compliance, or HR advice
  • Provide cybersecurity guarantees
  • Provide financial, tax, or accounting advice
  • Substitute for professional judgment in running your organization
Decisions about your technology, security, compliance, or business strategy should be made in consultation with appropriate qualified professionals and, where applicable, based on a separate written agreement with Awecomm. Your reliance on any information on the Site is at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • The Site and all Site Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • Awecomm disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
  • We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
  • We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any Site Content, or that the Site is free from viruses or other harmful components.
If you are dissatisfied with the Site, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using it.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • Awecomm and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or these Terms.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100) or the amount you have paid to us for Site-related services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Awecomm and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
  • Your use or misuse of the Site or Site Content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of a third party, including intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Any automated or AI-based access you initiate or control that violates Section 6 (Automated Access, AI Systems & Crawling)
We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you use the Site. By using the Site, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy with respect to personal data, the Privacy Policy will control.

14. Security & Availability

We implement technical and organizational measures that are designed to protect the security of the Site and any data we host. However:
  • No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur.
  • The Site may be temporarily unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, upgrades, or outages.
You are responsible for:
  • Maintaining the security of your own devices, networks, and credentials
  • Using up-to-date security tools (e.g., antivirus, firewall) where appropriate

15. Termination & Suspension

We may, in our sole discretion and without prior notice, suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Site if we believe:
  • You have violated these Terms
  • Your use poses a security or operational risk
  • We are required to do so by law
Upon termination, your right to use the Site will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Site are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be the state and federal courts located in [County], Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

17. International Use

The Site is primarily intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you are responsible for complying with local laws and regulations. We do not represent that the Site or Site Content is appropriate or available for use in all locations.

18. Entire Agreement & Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Awecomm regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings or agreements regarding that subject matter. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision under these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. You may not assign or transfer these Terms, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
